A total of seven people have died in the heavy snowstorm that has hit the Austrian Alps since Friday.
On Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that one of the deceased was Swedish.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is aware that a Swedish man in his thirties, who had emigrated, died on February 20 in Austria. Relatives have been notified," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote in an email to the newspaper.
