A middle-aged man from Västerbotten has been arrested in Thailand, suspected of serious crime, writes Norran.
Mats Samuelsson, press communicator at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, confirms to the newspaper that "the Ministry for Foreign Affairs is aware that a Swedish citizen residing in Norrland has been detained in Thailand in July".
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs does not want to give any further comments on the case.
