Every year, Santa Claus in Tomteboda receives around 20,000 letters from children in Sweden. This year, the wish lists are dominated by brands with a wide distribution on TikTok and YouTube, PostNord writes in a press release.
But there are also some more classic toys included.
The list is topped by the Chinese Labubu doll, followed by LEGO. Toy cars, squishies, mobile phones and Elsa gadgets (from the movie Frozen) are also in the top five.
"Amid the storm of new trends that spread at lightning speed on social media, the classics stand out. LEGO and cars are just as hot in 2025 as they were in the 70s," says Hanna Nydahl, collections manager at the Postal Museum.
A selection of all wish lists is preserved by the Postal Museum to document our contemporary history.
