The Swedish krona continues to be the strongest of a range of currencies compared to the US dollar. Since the turn of the year, the krona has strengthened by 17.6 percent based on the dollar currently costing 9.41 kronor.
Next best in the currency basket that the news agency Bloomberg measures against the dollar is the Norwegian krona with a strengthening of 14.1 percent.
At the same time, the Japanese yen has developed the worst with an increase of 6.3 percent.
