The Swedish krona continues its winning streak and is still the currency that has performed best this year among the most traded currencies in the so-called G10 group, reports Bloomberg.
The Swedish krona is traded today at the exchange rate 9.48 against a dollar and has thus strengthened 16.74 percent this year.
The strengthening against the dollar comes partly after the US dollar has weakened against many other currencies.
Other G10 currencies that have performed extra well against the dollar during the year are the Swiss franc, which has strengthened 13.55 percent against the dollar, and the euro, which is up 13.24 percent against the US currency.
