The Swedish krona is traded today at the exchange rate of 9.48 against one dollar and has thus strengthened by 16.77 percent this year. At the beginning of June, the strengthening was 15.36 percent.
The strengthening against the dollar comes partly after the US dollar has weakened against many other currencies.
Other G10 currencies that have performed extra well against the dollar during the year are the Norwegian krona, which has strengthened by 15.34 percent against the currency. The euro has also strengthened and is up 11.83 percent against the dollar.
