The Security Service has lowered the terror threat level in Sweden from four to three – from high threat to elevated threat. Therefore, the Swedish Ice Hockey Association has chosen to abolish its visitation requirement.

The visitation requirement was introduced in 2023, due to the Security Service then raising the threat level from three to four.

The ban on bags still applies, however.

"Regarding the so-called bag ban, the police have announced that they are currently reviewing this," writes the Swedish Ice Hockey Association.
