Earlier in December, two young Swedes were prosecuted for allegedly planning a murder in Norway. They were arrested last summer south of Oslo after a dramatic car chase.

NRK's mapping shows that at least 40 criminal cases can be linked to Swedish criminal networks in recent years. More than 100 people are involved and it concerns both Swedish and Norwegian citizens.

We have seen an increase in recent years and it is something we have warned about, says Kjetil Tunold at the National Criminal Police Kripos to the Norwegian public service company.

The crimes include, among other things, attempted murder and drug-related crimes. In several cases, Swedish teenagers have been recruited to commit violent acts.
