The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against non-essential travel to Israel until further notice, according to a press release. The previous travel advisory only applied to non-essential travel to the border areas with Gaza and Lebanon.
The travel advisory for Palestine is also being expanded. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs now advises against all travel to Gaza and to the West Bank in the provinces of Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas and Qalqilia, as well as to parts of the province of Nablus north of the city of Nablus.
For other areas and cities in the West Bank, non-essential travel is advised against.
Since January 12, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised against all travel to Iran and urged Swedes in Iran to leave the country.
