The fact that Göran Hugo Olsson's film is now included in the Museum of Modern Art's film library also means that it is included in the Celeste Bartos Film Preservation Center in Pennsylvania, established to ensure the collection's accessibility for future generations.

"I am bursting with pride that our film is part of the collections at MoMA and the first from Sweden that they actively selected. It must be the final confirmation that we have made a good and important film that over time stands tall above all film awards," says Göran Hugo Olsson in a press release.

"The Black Power Mixtape 1967–1975" premiered in 2011. Through archival material, the film depicts the African-American civil rights movement through Swedish eyes.
