Swedish commodity exports increased to 174.3 billion kronor in September, up from 170.1 billion during the same month last year, according to monthly figures from Statistics Sweden (SCB).
Imports fell slightly at the same time to 168.9 billion, down from 170.3 billion a year earlier.
Overall, trade generated a surplus of 5.4 billion kronor in September, which can be compared to the deficit of 200 million in September last year.
