Swedish Export Credit (SEK) surveys Swedish export companies twice a year. The latest survey covers 203 companies and was conducted between March 30 and April 27 this year.
Hiring plans are now among the strongest since 2016. 44 percent of export companies state that they plan to increase the number of employees in Sweden, compared to 32 percent last fall.
The figures show strong competitiveness, according to SEK, which provides financing and credit to Swedish companies.
“Demand is particularly strong in defense and security, industry, transport and energy, which are sectors that are important for both Europe's security and the climate transition,” says SEK CEO Magnus Montan in a press release.
