A SLO from a Swedish elite club has been prosecuted suspected of assault in connection with a football match. Now the person is acquitted by the district court.

A SLO, Supporter Liaison Officer, is the link between a club and its supporters.

It was after a football match earlier this year that a SLO employed by a Swedish elite club was prosecuted suspected of assault on a steward. The person was given a ban, but it was lifted by the district court a few months later.

Now the SLO is also acquitted of the assault charge by the same district court, whose opinion is that the person pushed away the steward in an attempt to calm down a situation with a supporter in connection with an admission, based on video material of the incident.
