Ekman-Larsson started by scoring 1-0 barely two minutes into the match. Rangers' Mika Zibanejad equalized a little later, but Nylander gave Toronto the lead again shortly after the drop in period two.
Toronto's Matthew Knies scored the decisive goal, before Zibanejad had passed for another equalizing goal, signed Will Cuylle.
After the match, William Nylander took the opportunity to praise Toronto's goalkeeper Anthony Stolarz, who made 33 saves.
He's hot.
Just the way he stopped shots today. He stood in the way and made some really big saves at important moments, says Nylander afterwards.
The win was Toronto's fourth in a row.
