I won a final spot yesterday, but lost a gold today. That's how I feel right now. It's clear that I'm disappointed directly after a loss, but at the same time it's big to have made it all the way here, says Lindborg to SVT.

The silver is the 26-year-old Swede's top merit after previously taking bronze at the European Championship. She came tenth at the Olympic Games in Paris last summer.

This is my biggest international medal so far. It's actually five years since I took my European Championship bronze, so it feels very special to be back at this level.

Lindborg competes in the 62-kilo class.

Albin Olofsson gets the chance to take a medal at the European Championship on Saturday when he is clear for the bronze match. This after losing the semifinal against Ramaz Zoidze, Georgia.
