There was never any talk about it. The Swedish women's floorball team, who have nine consecutive World Championship gold medals, took a 7-1 lead in the first period and extended it to 12-3 in the second in the match in Ostrava.
In the third there were "only four goals".
Ellen Lundin and Ellen Bäckstedt both scored three goals each. Ten Swedes appeared on the scoresheet.
In Saturday's semi-final, Sweden will face Switzerland. In the other, Finland will face the home nation, the Czech Republic.
The final will be played on Sunday. There is much evidence that it will be Sweden and Finland who meet again.
