Low economic activity and continued concern about what will happen with the postponed tariffs from the US side give reason for concern and uncertainty among Swedish companies.

In the employer organization Svenskt näringsliv's business panel, almost 6,000 companies have given their view of the current situation. The mood is also almost unchanged.

On the question of whether the number of employees will have increased within a 12-month period, 6 out of 10 companies still believe that the workforce is unchanged and 1 out of 10 believes that it is smaller. Both figures are identical to how it looked at the measurement in the first quarter of the year.

Even when it comes to investments, it is still over 50 percent (52 percent) who assess the situation as unchanged.

Svenskt näringsliv predicts that the Swedish Central Bank will decide to lower the interest rate next week and then implement another reduction after the summer.
