The Swede is clear for Manchester United, where he will be part of head coach Erik ten Hag's coaching staff for the men's team.
In this industry, opportunities can arise that you haven't imagined, says Georgson according to NTB.
Swedish coach Andreas Georgson has been bought out of his head coaching job in Norwegian Lilleström, and will instead join Erik ten Hag's coaching staff for United's men's team. The club confirms this on its website.
There, the former Malmö FF sports manager will work with stars like Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, and Swedish Victor Nilsson Lindelöf.
Georgson has had several different roles in Malmö FF, including sports manager, interim coach, and chief scout. In addition to Malmö, the Swede has also had coaching roles in several English clubs such as Arsenal, Southampton, and Brentford.
But most recently, he comes from the head coaching job in Norwegian Lilleström, where he has been since January.
In this industry, opportunities can arise that you haven't imagined beforehand. This was such an opportunity that arose a while ago. After thinking long and hard, we decided to continue our lives in England, but it wasn't an easy decision, says Georgson to Lilleström's website according to NTB.
