The two Swedish citizens who were previously extradited from Dubai to Sweden have been arrested, reports Sydsvenskan.
One person is suspected on probable cause of serious protection of offenders, instigation of serious weapons offenses and serious weapons offenses. The other is suspected on probable cause of serious weapons offenses.
One of them is prominent in a criminal gang.
The extradition was the first from the United Arab Emirates after the extradition agreement with Sweden that was ratified during the summer.
The persons were arrested in their absence earlier, according to Sydsvenskan.
