A 45-year-old man who was travelling in the other car has been arrested.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is aware that a minor Swedish citizen died in Croatia yesterday. Relatives have been notified," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs writes in a comment to the newspaper.
The accident occurred on Friday afternoon in Lužani, near the border with Bosnia.
