Jennie Walldén runs a Korean restaurant in Malmö. Now she will compete in the South Korean Netflix hit "Culinary Class Wars". It is an incredible honor to be asked, she tells Sydsvenskan.

The show's first season premiered on Netflix in September last year and quickly became one of the streaming giant's most-watched shows globally.

Season two premieres on December 16, where Jennie Walldén, restaurateur and former winner of “Sweden’s Master Chef,” participates as one of a hundred chefs. They compete both individually and in team challenges until a lone winner remains.

Being part of something as incredibly Korean as "Culinary class wars" felt very, very nice, says Walldén, who was adopted from South Korea as a six-year-old, to Sydsvenskan.

In October, it was announced that TV4 had purchased "100 knives", another giant-format cooking concept.
