This is an increase of 3 percent compared with the same period last year, the organisation writes in a press release.
The increase was greater for international guest nights, up 3.5 percent. Guest nights by Swedes increased by 2.8 percent, according to preliminary figures received by Svensk Camping from the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth.
"Guest nights from Norway increased by 5.3 percent compared with June–August 2025. With a share of 44 percent, camping was the largest holiday accommodation during the summer for European tourists visiting Sweden," writes Svensk Camping.
