Fredrik Lindström, Carl-Johan Bergman, Mattias Nilsson and Björn Ferry received their medals in connection with the biathlon competition at Stockholm Stadium.

The reason for the delay was the doping conviction of Russian Yevgeny Ustyugov, which, after many rounds and appeals, only came into effect last year. He was part of the Russian team that won the relay bronze at the 2010 Olympics and gold in 2014, and he also won the mass start at the 2010 Olympics.
