The figure comes from the Inspectorate for Strategic Products (ISP), which controls Swedish arms exports, and can be compared with the record SEK 29 billion in 2024.
The security situation and global rearmament are causing the Swedish defense industry to grow, according to ISP's Director General Carl Johan Wieslander.
"Exports can be expected to increase further in light of the major export deals announced during the year," he says on ISP's website.
The list of largest buyers of Swedish weapons in 2025 is topped by the United States, which purchased Swedish military equipment for just under SEK 4.3 billion, followed by Gripen customers Hungary and Brazil.
