He is a Swedish man in his 40s who was arrested on May 1 together with an activist from Brazil and has been held at Shikma Prison in Ashkelon.
Now their detention has been extended until Sunday, a spokesperson for the human rights group Adalah told AFP.
The Swedish man reportedly told lawyers that he was forced to lie face down for the entire journey to Israel. Israel has not responded to the allegations.
