Michaelsdotter debuted last year with the novel “Blommorna,” about Edit, who works in a flower shop at a cemetery. “Schlager om sommaren” is Ester Berg’s debut, a collection of poems about a woman in heartbreak.
The Academy has established its own debutant prize to "highlight interesting and promising new writing in Swedish literature."
