A Swedish teenage boy is being prosecuted for involvement in a shooting in Kolding, Denmark, last summer.

The 17-year-old boy is suspected of attempting to murder a 26-year-old man together with a 28-year-old Danish man.

According to the indictment, at least seven shots were fired in central Kolding on the morning of July 31. The 26-year-old was hit in the leg but survived.

The Swede was arrested the same evening and has been in custody since then. The 28-year-old man who is co-defendant was arrested in October, according to a press release from the police in southeastern Jutland.
