The Royal Lytham & St Annes golf course outside Blackpool in England proved difficult for many in the field, and the three Swedes who made it to the qualifying round were no exception.

Maja Stark shot 73 - six over par for the tournament - while Nordqvist and Arwefjäll went around in 77. The 26-year-old British Open debutant Arwefjäll had a nice round on Friday (-2), but dropped more than 20 places after Saturday's play and is +6 overall.

Solheim Cup captain Nordqvist lost around 30 places and is at +7 heading into Sunday's finale.

The American Yealimi Noh leads by seven strokes under par after her round of 69. Noh's first and only victory on the LPGA Tour came in February 2025 and the 25-year-old's best major finish in her career is a third-place finish in the 2021 Evian Championship.

Noh leads by three strokes heading into the final round. Behind her, a quintet of players are chasing at four strokes under par - including world number two Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand and world number three Ryu Hae-Ran of South Korea.

Ryu has won the last two majors of the season and looked like she would take a comfortable lead for a long time on Saturday, but problems started to set in on the seventh hole. The South Korean made five bogeys in eight holes and came in at +3 for the day.

Only nine players in the starting field managed to finish under par on Saturday.
