Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard says in a written comment to TT that her thoughts "go to those affected and their relatives".
"I am deeply moved by the extensive consequences of the earthquake in Myanmar, which has also affected several other countries in Southeast Asia", writes Maria Malmer Stenergard.
"The Ministry for Foreign Affairs and our embassies are closely following the situation", she continues.
