Two Swedes are guilty of attempting to kill one or more people with firearms or hand grenades in Brønshøj outside Copenhagen, Frederiksberg District Court has found.

In August last year, the Swedes, who are now 18 and 27 years old, were hired to murder. It failed, partly due to a technical fault with the weapon when the then 16-year-old boy tried to shoot at three people.

Shortly afterwards, the older of them was arrested, but the 16-year-old managed to escape home to Sweden, where he was later arrested.

Four more men have been found by the court to have been involved in the crime. They have helped with accommodation and transport, among other things. One of them also gave instructions on how to handle hand grenades and firearms.

All have denied attempted murder during the trial. Announcement of the sentence is expected in a week.
