Suldan Hassan won by one second over Sondre Nordstad Moen.
“I felt strong at the end, especially,” Hassan says in a press release.
Last year, they finished with the same time. The Norwegian, who had been six hundredths of a second faster, was later disqualified after extending his arm to stop Hassan during the run.
Meraf Bahta won the women's race by a margin of 58 seconds over her Swedish compatriot Samrawit Mengstab in the 20-mile race. Dane Sylvia Kiberenge was a further eleven seconds behind.
