Two Swedes are being investigated by the Central Criminal Police in Finland for preparation of a serious crime against life and health.
The two Swedish citizens were arrested in Turku at the beginning of February, reports Yle.
The suspects could be caught thanks to the police's work. Due to the swift initial measures, it was likely possible to prevent a more serious crime, says Criminal Commissioner Juha-Pekka Karkkola to Yle.
Information from the preliminary investigation suggests that the crime would have been directed against a person selected in advance.
Finnish police are cooperating with Swedish police on the case.
