On Thursday, the United Arab Emirates announced on X that 158 people had been injured in attacks in the country, for which Iran has been blamed. According to the Ministry of Defense, the injuries range from "light to severe."
At least one of the injured is Swedish, a woman in her 40s from Götaland who was slightly injured on March 13, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' press service confirms to TT.
In addition to the 158 injured from up to 30 countries, including Sweden, six civilians and two soldiers have been killed in various attacks.
The United Arab Emirates has been targeted by 334 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,714 drones in recent weeks, according to the Defense Department.
