Sweden's women's football team will begin this spring's World Cup qualifiers at Stadio Oreste Granillo in Reggio Calabria on Italy's "toe tip". This is clear after the venues have been finalized for the opening two away matches.
The away match against Italy, which kicks off the World Cup qualifiers, will be played on March 3. Four days later, the qualifiers continue with another away match, against Serbia.
That match will be played at Sportski Centar FSS in Stara Pazova, just north of Belgrade.
The winner of the group, which also includes Denmark, goes directly to the World Cup in Brazil in 2027. The other three teams go to the playoffs.
