The Swedish passer tore her cruciate ligament and was ruled out for 2025. With three months left until the European Championship, it was still not certain whether Julevik would recover enough to take a place in the Swedish squad.
"She shows that she has recovered physically, technically and mentally," says national team captain Lorenzo Micelli.
Sweden won Monday's round of 16 against the Czech Republic 3–0 in sets.
"We are so proud of the team," says Julevik.
Sweden plays the quarter-final against Italy on Wednesday.
