In total, four national team matches against Finland await over the next two weeks.
First, two meetings in Gothenburg during the Easter weekend, April 17-18, followed by double matches away in Finland the week after.
Then, the World Championship preparations will be rounded off with the Czech Hockey Games in Switzerland and the Czech Republic at the end of April and beginning of May.
"Now, three weeks of intense preparations for the World Championship in Stockholm begin, and we are both loaded and a little nervous about the adventure that awaits. The Finland match always adds an extra spice considering the opposition," says national team captain Sam Hallam in a press release.
For the first two matches against Finland, players from the semifinal teams in the SM playoffs are missing, and no NHL players are participating either.
The Ice Hockey World Championship in Stockholm and Danish Herning will take place from May 9-25.
Sweden will play all its matches in Stockholm.
