The Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson does not want to draw any hasty conclusions from Trump's speech tonight when it comes to Ukraine, but says to TT:
There were more good signals than bad signals.
In Trump's long speech to the American Congress, the President briefly mentioned that he appreciates "the letter" from Ukraine's President Zelenskyj that Ukraine is ready to sign a mineral agreement and come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to get closer to a lasting peace.
At any rate, it was a good signal that there is a functioning dialogue, says Kristersson.
