"He is a good football player and we want to see how he can now combine with the others", says Dahl Tomasson to the association's website.

The team from kick-off: Viktor Johansson – Victor Nilsson Lindelöf, Isak Hien, Gabriel Gudmundsson – Emil Holm, Yasin Ayari, Anton Salétros, Sebastian Nanasi, Ken Sema – Benjamin Nygren, Alexander Isak.

"Victor Nilsson Lindelöf is back as captain. He has not played much in Manchester after his injury, so starting him in both matches felt a bit too much. We all know how good a Victor in match form is and now he gets minutes with the team from the start".

As wingers, Emil Holm gets the chance on the right and Ken Sema on the left.

"They should be in the right positions when we have possession and finding our way into the opponent's penalty area is important. They should also participate in the high press and make the right runs", says Jon Dahl Tomasson.

The national team has something to prove after the highly subpar performance on Saturday. Then Luxembourg won at home with 1–0.

Dahl Tomasson criticized the performance.

We didn't play according to our principles. We have too many touches on the ball, are too slow, we lose the ball and second balls. This is a step back, so now we need to take a step forward again, said the national team captain.

Offensive stars Dejan Kulusevski and Viktor Gyökeres are both struggling with injuries and missed the first national team gathering of the year. Moreover, midfielders Hugo Larsson and Lucas Bergvall had to withdraw.
