The junior crowns won 4–2 in the return match against Canada before the JVM.

After losing in the first practice session of the week against Canada, Sweden managed to get revenge during the night towards Sunday.

Sweden opened the scoring at the end of the first period via Victor Eklund, but Canada managed to both equalize and pull away in the middle period.

At the beginning of the third, Jack Berglund scored to make it 2–2 and a few minutes later, the super-prospect Ivar Stenberg scored 3–2. Jack Berglund then closed the match at 4–2, his second goal of the evening.

The Swedish goalie was Love Härenstam, son of SVT profile Chris Härenstam. He saved a total of 23 out of 25 shots.

The JVM tournament starts on December 26th.
