Market conditions continue to pose challenges for housing construction, according to the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning.

"Although household purchasing power is recovering, many are still struggling with lower purchasing power than before the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Construction costs also remain at a high level and show no signs of coming down," the authority writes.

So far, the effects of the war in Iran have not had any major impact on housing construction, according to the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning.
