Sweden had in practice already secured the World Championship spot after crushing Kosovo with 51–16 in the qualifying match at home.
The handball women also won the return match – with 24–43.
The five who were to play Champions League matches this week were excused from the Kosovo trip. These were Johanna Bundsen, Elin Hansson, Linn Blohm, Tyra Axnér and Nina Koppang.
Instead, Thea Kylberg and Emma Wahlström made their national team debuts. Kylberg scored four goals.
Left-back Clara Lerby scored the most goals against Kosovo – seven each match.
The World Championship will be played in Germany and the Netherlands on November 29-December 14.
