The company Bankomat, which owns ATMs at 600 locations around Sweden, has had technical problems for a while. At most, every fifth ATM has been out of order "lately", according to the company.

The problems are due to the fact that Bankomat, since the turn of the year, themselves handle the transport of cash to the ATMs. This has caused problems that have become "even bigger than we feared" the company writes on its website.

There is no forecast for when the error can be rectified.

I do not want to promise anything that we then cannot keep. But we are working extremely hard and doing everything in our power to get back to a normal situation as soon as possible, says Jenny Danielsson, communications manager at Bankomat, to Göteborgs-Posten.
