Leeds coach Daniel Farke has confirmed that Gudmundsson, who played for Sweden at the World Cup this summer, will miss Saturday's match against Nottingham in the opening round of the English Premier League.
It's not a major injury, but he will definitely not be available, Farke said at a press conference.
Gudmundsson, 27, came off in the training match against Liverpool earlier in August after a thigh injury.
