It was 6–6 after the regular ends, but the Swedes had the last-stone advantage after Scotland equalized with a two-pointer in the tenth end.

Once in the shootout, skipper Isabelle Wranå decided it with a two-pointer for an 8–6 victory.

Halfway through the tournament, Sweden is fifth in the standings. The team has won four and lost two. The top two after twelve regular-season matches go straight to the semi-finals – teams 3–6 play the quarter-finals.
