It was Swedish gold and silver in the knockout sprint at the European Championship in orienteering in Belgium. New European champion is August Mollén, and Jonatan Gustafsson took the silver.

Completely crazy, really. I have felt like a million today, I have never experienced anything like it. It's incredible, really, says Mollén to SVT after the gold.

Gustafsson is satisfied with the silver medal.

I have been on the podium many times so I want that gold too, but it's crazy to be here again, you take nothing for granted. I'm really happy, and fun for August's sake as well, says Gustafsson.

The Swedes Axel Granqvist and Martin Regborn also made it to the final, but after a wrong turn the duo finished sixth and seventh respectively.

In the women's final, Alva Sonesson was the only Swede who had qualified, and it was her first final in the European Championship. Then she finished in last place in the final when the 24-year-old finished sixth.

There was not much strength left in the final, it feels like I have run many races the last few days, says Sonesson.
