Hanna Lundberg finished as fourth – but Finland, which crossed the finish line first, was disqualified and thus it became a Swedish bronze in the end.

I had no idea, says Lundberg to SVT about the disqualification drama afterwards and continues:

I came in to the team and just said "sorry, sorry, I was too slow today", but they said no, we are third.

Finland was disqualified for missing the last control.

Norway won the relay, 20 seconds ahead of Switzerland and Sweden was 24 seconds behind.

Lundberg had a gold position when she went out in the lead before the last leg. A couple of mistakes however made Hanna Lundberg, who was part of the Swedish gold team in the long distance World Championship in Kuopio, lose.

Alva Sonesson, Jonatan Gustafsson and Martin Regborn were also part of the Swedish team.

The Sprint European Championship is held in Belgian Hasselt.
