Albania took the lead in the final minutes of the first half. The 1–0 lead held until the 63rd minute, when Poland's striker Robert Lewandowski, who plays for Barcelona, equalized to make it 1–1.
Ten minutes later, Inter's Piotr Zielenski extended the lead to 2–1 for Poland with a rocket-like finish.
Sweden–Poland will be played on Tuesday at the national stadium in Solna, where the winner qualifies for this summer's World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
