The medical staff will reinforce Sweden's crisis team in the United Arab Emirates, following a government request to the Civil Defense Agency.
"Healthcare personnel will support the embassies and need to be on site to assess and take care of medical needs," says Minister of Health Elisabet Lann (KD) in a press release.
It was announced that healthcare personnel may be sent from Stockholm, Västra Götaland, Skåne, Östergötland, Uppsala and Västerbotten counties.
