It could be a role that has greater authority than regular security guards, but less authority than the police, says Gunnar Strömmer at a press conference.
This would be a completely new role, Strömmer says.
Not least, municipalities, regions and other authorities such as the police could use them as another actor to create local security.
The inquiry will also look at whether regular security guards can be used to a greater extent than today. This could, for example, mean new tasks being added.
