Sweden remains in the top tier among the world's happiest and places fourth, just like last year, according to this year's edition of the UN-sponsored report that attempts to measure happiness in the world, the World Happiness Report.
But the happiest of all is again Finland, which tops the list for the eighth year and is followed by Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, and the Netherlands.
Among the Nordic countries, Norway stands out and finishes seventh.
Around 1,000 people from each country participate in the survey annually.
